The Charade of Trump’s State of the Union Speech

State of the Union SpeechThe least popular American president; Donald Trump, whose popularity hovers around 30%, took the podium to address the American people about the state of the union on Tuesday January 30th. Although the words of the speech were very carefully selected, and Trump seemed to be intensely coached to be serious, he could not completely hide his narcissistic, self-aggrandizing conceited arrogant personality. He addressed his audience in lofty mannerism with a raised chin and smirky smiles, clapping for himself and at times inviting others; Democratic half of the audience, to clap for him.

American JewishOne of my “favorite” American Zionists is David Harris, Chief Executive Officer of the American Jewish Congress (AJC). I like David Harris because (1) for some unfathomable reason, he, or his office staff, have been kind enough to keep me on his mailing list and (2) he consistently puts forth the ideas which reflect the Zionist establishment’s worldview. Not Anti-Semitism but less Sympathy for Israel
